Welcome! The Flexible Energy and Electronics Laboratory (F.E.E. Lab) at the University of Toronto was established in 2006 within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Our research focuses on the electrochemical behaviour of inorganic and organic materials and their application in energy storage and in printed large area, flexible electronics. Ultimately, these efforts will complement each other to enable self-powered, flexible electronics to enrich our lives. Starting July 2023, Professor Lian has become a Professor Emeritus. While we are still interested in working with new students, we are only recruiting highly independent students with a strong background in electrochemistry. Thanks for visiting our website!
